SGE has designed over 5 MW DC of rooftop arrays at 15+ buildings in CT & MA for Independence Solar, a developer with locations across the East Coast. Array tie-ins varied by project, and included supply side connections to utility transformers, as well as load side connections to existing distribution equipment in the buildings. SGE performed detailed designs for both the AC and DC portions of the systems, including voltage drop & fill calculations, conduit routing and detailed equipment layout drawings.
